Something is coming

I looked at a possible home-made house on wheels. See there is this neighbor of mine that is selling this really beautiful looking trailer and me being someone who is not only looking for something to live in but is also looking to hit the road as soon as I can decided to hit up this neighbor. So I got his number and shot him a text. Quickly he replies and we get to talking about what it comes with. This tear drop trailer is for sale for $5,000. Yes I did say $5 grand. It comes with a large enough living/sleeping space, it allows up to three people to sleep in it, has air conditioning, a working kitchen, Surround sound, and is anywhere from 500 - 1,000 pounds. For me, that sounds perfection and its just around the corner.

So of course we get done talking and decide that I can look at the trailer without him. He tells me where he will hide the keys and I can take a look whenever I’m ready.

The next day rolls around and I head to the trailer. It takes me a minute but when I do get the whole thing open I start looking at what it comes with. Immediately I notice that there are quite a few items I would pass on. The surround system was ok but not what I would want. The bunk area he talked about was kind of cool but you had to ok with tight spaces. There was a burner, an oven, an old coffee pot, and a few other miscellaneous items. I noticed inside that there would need to be some changes. Then once I got to the outside I noticed that some areas where chipped and I could see where I would need to work on it.

I go to the back and see the kitchen. It actually looks like a really cool set up but I do realize that I’m going to again, have to repair it. So after a little bit of looking at it alone I call my dad and we look t it together. He runs me through what he thinks and what he would pay for it. Then he tried to lift it. You guys that thing didn’t even move. My car can pull up to 1200 pounds. Anything over is impossible and is out of the question. So we both started thinking that it was over what the guy said. After a little bit of talking we locked it up, returned the keys and went back home.

I text the guy to see if I can get it properly weighed and I realize that this guy really does think that is anywhere between 500- 1,000 pounds. Nothing more. After a bit of discussion I realize that this guy probably knows its overweight and I get an idea in my head. A really good one....and I’m going to have to stop there because it’s a surprise and I don’t want to jinx anything but when I know what the next move is I will tell you guys.

I’m very excited and I can't wait to see what happens.
