Tea

Recently I have been drinking Tea and its for a few reasons. One is to help my cravings settle down a little bit. Since I work in an ice cream and fudge shop I have access to all kinds of delicious sweets and since i work on a regular basis right now I can say that I have all kinds of temptations throughout the week. I love chocolate and I love the idea of just sitting there and eating it all but I also know that I would weigh 4,000 Pounds if I did all of that. So for me it was a trade off.

Unexpectedly I am actually enjoying the tea. I hardly ever drink it but I think this may be a new turn for me. A little bit of sugar, honey, or milk (depending on the flavor) and it is just perfect. Of course though I realized that I cant have tea before I go to work.

Yesterday I was having a hard time with my sinuses so I decided to drink some peppermint tea to help clear out my nose. First off, it was strong and it did help me out but about a half hour after I drank it I tanked and needed a nap. So I got off the computer and stopped my work to go take a nap before I had to drive over to my part time job. I was lagging for about an hour and had to go get some coffee to keep myself moving. I honestly felt like I had melted into the bed and it was so hard to get up and go. So with that lesson learned I now know to not drink tea before I go to work but after a long day.

At leas it will help me go to sleep and also stop all the cravings I have been having. Finally, something that works.

So here's the question, are you a tea drinker?
