A new Experience

It's weird being able to buy drinks at a bar. You get to walk in, order a drink that someone makes for you and then you get to make decisions in how drunk you wish to get  openly and freely. Well except for the need to pay money at the end of the night. That's always expected. I just don't think that the realization that I can now go to a bar and drink has really set in yet. Usually i'm the one telling my dad to hurry up and to finish so that we can go home. Then when we get home I can drink and do what I need to do. Now though there's a whole other experience that I get to have.

Drinking at my Dad's favorite bar....with my Dad.

Its not like we don't already have enough bonding experiences but this is a whole other thing. Now were talking about buying beverages together and getting buzzed in a PUBLIC place. Most of the experiences I have had, have been in other countries and that was pretty cool but to be able to finally have control in your own country is a totally different thing.

The one experience that I have not had yet is buying a beverage from a store. Of course it will happen, I just haven't had the need or chance to do so. For me I think this is going to be an interesting turn when it comes to my ability to make choices and I am really excited for what the future holds. Its nice to finally be at that age where there aren't any other barriers, its just you and the world aaannnnd maybe a flask filled with some vodka in your pocket just in case something ****ty happens (You never know) so you can then drink the ****ty thing away.

Oh how strange and wonderful it is to be alive.

What was your 21st experience like?
