Kellywood Posts: 20 Registered: 2017-06-19	HI Sara, I just finished watching the series. It was very heartbreaking for me. I spent an entire youth bouncing from 10 different schools as my parents went through divorce. I became very adept at a young age at "getting along" and making friends. I always tried to stay under the radar and just get good grades to eventually secure my "freedom". Even then I experienced the rath of "Bullying". But my "Choice" as the woman in your story refers to was to stick up for myself. I recently told a very good friend about being harassed at my locker in 9th grade as the "new girl" everyday until I took the cheerleader by the shoulders and shoved her against her locker. Eye to eye and let her go. My worst nightmares were over after that for the most part. But I learned from the best black girls in North Carolina how to defend myself:) Specifically the :heavy weights" as at that time I think I was less than 90 lbs. Ha Ha. I so appreciate your time in calling this topic out! My daughter has gone through sexual bullying and that sucks too. My last voice here is that young people need to stick together! It can be done.
