Merry Christmas! I hope you all are having a wonderful day today. It could be that you are with family and friends, or that you are by yourself on this holiday but no matter which option it is I do hope that it is a good one. Christmas personally, is one of my favorite holidays and it's not because of the presents, even if that was my reason as a kid, it's now because of the idea of families coming together and spending time together. It taking goofy pictures in front of the tree, going outside and getting some sun, singing Christmas songs, playing board games and just letting everything go for one day. 

For me, this Christmas is a little bittersweet. I'm dog sitting and house sitting so I'm not home right now but I will be this afternoon. We did presents early this year and even though I felt bad for missing our tradition of watching Die Hard I know that I will get a chance to watch a movie with my dad this evening. I'm not sure what it will be but I am sure it will be good either way. This will be the last Christmas in my childhood home and even though I'm sad because of it I also know that it is a chapter that needs to close. New things are coming and this is only the beginning. 

I hope each and every one of you has a wonderful day today. I hope you enjoy all the time you have with your loved ones because you never know what can happen. Our world is getting crazier and crazier by the day so enjoy what you have. It truly is worth putting down that phone, turning off that laptop, or letting go of that political debate that you desperately want to win.
