Last year I got these earplugs for Christmas. They are called Eargasm Earplugs and they were one of the few I saw that had good reviews for concerts. So I got a pair of them. The first thing I really liked about the earplugs was the packaging. They have a little carry case that you can put on your car keys. That makes them easy to have with you and it's not too big or bulky so you hardly notice they are there. The other thing that was interesting about them was that the package has two different size earplugs. One that's small size and one that's a large size. This way you can test them out and pick the best ones for you.
The Icon For Hire concert was one of the first places I got to really try them. At first, I wasn't sure how they would work out but after a little bit, I realized that they made a huge difference. I could still hear the music but it wasn't a huge difference in terms of the sound. Yet when I took the earplugs out I could hear all the background noise clear as day. I was surprised by that.
The entire concert I sat in comfort and not once did I feel like the earplugs were impairing my ability to actually hear the words they were saying. In fact, after a few minutes it seemed almost normal to me and when I took them out it took a minute for me to readjust to the normalcy of my hearing.
Sometimes when I wear earplugs I feel like I'm takin gout cotton balls and its usually pretty uncomfortable or I have to readjust them every few minutes because they slide out. These earplugs stayed where I wanted them to and they were comfortable enough that I forgot I had them in. It was wonderful and I would recommend them to anybody who loves to go to concerts but likes to be able to hear afterward. These have changed the concert game for sure and I am so excited to continue to use them.
A few days ago I bought a drone and I got to play with it for a few days. I learned something that I didn't expect. The picture quality on the holy stone HS120D is garbage. Almost quite literally. It is a $175 drone on a normal day but when I purchased it the price was $125. Usually, Holystone has a good rep. It is one of those companies that makes some of the best drones for the price they sell at so I figured that it would be a good match. What I didn't know was that this particular model has some issues. First, it freezes the app after you finish taking a video or photo. Quite literally. When that happens I found that I had to reset the entire thing to get it to function again.
Second, it makes my phone lava hot. Almost quite literally. Not only is that ridiculous but its kinda scary because it could fry the phone. Third, the quality of photos and video it takes is just ****. I don't get how something that expensive could take terrible photo and video but it does. When I figured this out (It was after some major testing in the air and crashing it a few times) I immediately decided to return it. I wasn't going to have something that expensive turn out to be junk.
So I packed everything up, printed out my slip and wrote a complaint to the people who sold them. They tried to see if I would reconsider but I told them straight up that their drone was ****. Almost quite literally. They were pretty upset but they understood why I sent it back. Money is pretty valuable and when you spend it on big purchases you don't want to be disappointed. This one was in fact disappointing.
If you are looking to purchase a drone, don't buy the Holy Stone HS120D. It is **** and you will be disappointed.
Last week I ordered a Deebot m80 pro. I purchased it because my father and I live in a decent sized house that has a lot of wood flooring and tile. As a result it gets dirty pretty quickly and keeping up with it is a hassle. It’s one of those things that just can get out of hand if you aren’t keeping up with it on a daily basis. And because of that I ordered a deebot. Now those of you that don’t know what a deebot is I will give you a quick description. A deebot is a less expensive version (depending on which one you buy of course) of a floor cleaning robot. For most of my childhood the company to go through was roomba (or irobot) and for years we had one that worked quite well. After about ten years or so though it lost its ability to actually suck up hair, dust bunnies, and trash. Eventually it just became a pile of junk and we threw it out.
I waited a while to order a new one. I thought that we didn’t really need it and they were pretty expensive. I just didn’t see the point when we already had a broom and dustpan and really just let things slide. After a month went by I changed my mind. You don’t really know how much cats shed until you have a house that has a lot of wood flooring. You can see the balls of hair everywhere and honestly it’s kind of gross. So with that in mind I decided to go ahead and do some research on i-robots and see what I could find.
On eBay that have a huge selection. Some I had never heard of before so I started digging into the companies and started looking into what is best for what price. What I came up with was the deebot m80 pro. It has five different settings including a mop setting and For a fully refurbished one they wanted $129. After tossing it around for a bit and doing some thinking I purchased one.
It took a week for it to arrive and ever since it got here it has been amazing. Every time we have used it, it has picked up all kinds of hair, trash, and sand. It has been full every single time and I am so happy about the results. The cats are a little weirded out by it but I am sure that within a week they will get used to it. It turns on every weekday at 9 a.m and goes until I either tell it to go back to its charging dock or until it is almost dead. I love it. I really think that if you animals, you work a lot and you have wood flooring in your home that it is worth the buy. This has helped us so much and I think its super useful. So if that sounds like something you need then head over to ebay cause they have tons of them at awesome prices.
I’m watching part two of this show that I really enjoy. It’s a Netflix original and it really is one of its kind. It’s called the O.A which is not only a strange name but once you get to know the show it fits. In the first part of the show you learn that there are these people who have died and come back. Somehow they were able to come back from the dead and because of that they are given a special gift from the goddess of death herself. For the main character she was able to come back but in return she had to give up her eye sight. So she came back blind.
The show keeps going to a point where the blind girl meets a man. He asks her if she has had near death experiences and asks her to be part of his study. Without really knowing what that meant she agreed and without a second thought he took her to his place where he then locked her in a glass cage with four other people who had also died and come back. For seven years he experiments on them and kills them over and over and over again to see where they go and tries to figure out if he can find a way to travel to a different dimension through them.
The show gets so deep and becomes so crazy that it really knows how to draw you in. It makes you question about life and death. It makes you wonder about an alternate reality and where you go when you die. It makes you question about the thoughts and the process of what can happen in our lives. If you have Netflix you should go watch it. If your into mystery, death experiences, and so on then give it a try. I really think you will enjoy it.
