Everyone has the spicy cough

Hello, there world of SDTraveler! I hope everyone is well and staying active, healthy, and is getting out into the world to experience what life is about. I know that I have been getting outside more and just have been enjoying what life has to offer me. Running, climbing, making art, going on long walks. Normally I spend about an hour to three hours outside on weekdays but on the weekends I try to stay outside as much as I can...unless it's raining. Then that becomes a problem but we go through the motions when that happens. When I'm not outside, as you may know, I work for Disney's call center, and guess what I'm noticing?

People are suddenly getting covid. How weird? Coincidence? I think not. It's crazy how everyone under the sun is suddenly getting sick, going to the hospital, complaining about contracting THE covid and that they are canceling left and right. Now, this may be just a random thought but I think this may be because people are going out in the world and doing things and trying to go back to a normal life. We now can get in contact with others and because of that we are spreading this lovely virus and infecting more people so that we can get natural immunity. Weird how that works.

The interesting thing I'm finding with some of the people I chat with is that most of them say that they took all the right steps. Wore a mask, got the vaccines, boosters, and all the other happy stuff that was told to us to "Keep us safe". Then they tell me that they don't understand how it happened that they are super sick and that they don't want to infect others. In theory, that's nice to say and if you really are sick with a fever and everything then yes stay home. But I do wonder how long the covid excuse will work out and when the people really will realize that enough is enough. If we had just let people go on their merry way in the first place this would have been over a long time ago. Businesses wouldn't have been shut down, lives wouldn't have been ruined, and we could actually enjoy this world we live in just like we were before.

The mistakes we've made for Covid 19 will bite us in the ass and it is coming if it hasn't already arrived and we are in a heap of hurt ahead.
