Rain. So much rain.
Just yesterday we had rain all throughout the day. For me that’s great since it cools down the area and makes it easier to run. For everything else though, it makes it hazardous. For me rain is a tool to use and a nice reminder that mother nature is always in charge. If mother nature wants rain then rain will come. There’s not much we can do to control it.
Whenever I hear the word rain I get to different images. I get relaxation and unease. On one side I see myself out in the rain enjoying the moment where I get to push myself without dieing from the heat and I also see myself sitting on a window ledge with a good book and just reading away. For me the rain makes me relaxed and almost refreshed. Back when I was in school it was a different reaction. Rain meant wet seats on the bus, soaked clothes, the smell of wet dog, squeaky shoes, and ruined papers that you finished a few hours ago. Really does mess up your day and can ruin a lot that’s going on in your daily life.
Rain is necessary for everything to survive and for me it’s something that I simply couldn’t see myself without. Rain is a part of the things I do from a day to day basis and it helps our world survive. Not only that but if you use it just right, the rain can help you with certain events. I know that rain may be a hazard for some photographers but for me it’s a chance to create something astounding and memorable. The rain can be used in so many ways. It’s hard to believe something that can be damaging to objects we love is also so beautiful to and unique to use.
So, do you like the rain?
