The hard part about being an artist is not knowing when to relax. Ever since I became an art vendor I have been nonstop working. Everyday I was working on a piece and everyday I was coming up with ideas and thoughts to keep my pieces interesting. I wanted to sell them and I wanted people to start knowing my name. Because of that there are pieces all over the house. Absoloutely everywhere. I have sticky notes saying that some are still in progress and others that have the price, name and shipping price on pieces that are complete. If I kept them in my room I am sure that they would be all over the walls. Yet I know they are going to go to the store or online so I keep them mostly in other areas.
I will admit that it has been tough to gauge when to sleep and how to manage my hours. At my part time job i'm working somewhere between 20-35 hours a week and every day I am working at least one hour one one piece. From there I do about thirty minutes of exercise and i'm constantly working on being social and managing my online duties as well.
Its a lot of hard work but I also know that it will pay off in the end. I love art, I love blogging, I love YouTube, I love running and I even love being able to have a part time job that relies on me. But I know that a vacation is soon needed so I am already in the works of planning a vacation. Where will I go? I have no idea but I do know that no matter how far I travel that I will enjoy every second of it.
I cant wait for 2018. It will be a new year, a new start, and one that I will be taking by storm.
