To be honest I am a little nervous about the flying portion of this New Zealand Trip. It’s mostly because I have to switch flights in two airports I have never been to. Really it’s going to be quite the task and I have a three hour layover in each location which to be honest sounds like very little time. Luckily it’s the same flying company the entire way there and back so I don’t have to worry about other fighting other flight requirements. I have not flown a lot so my experience is very little which makes the stress build.
Personally I think that flying is quite fun and I havent had many issues with it before but that would only be because I havent really had any bad flights happen. I know I have heard stories from others when their flights were just awful and I really do hope that it doesnt happen to me. I think one of the things I am hoping doesnt happen is me loosing my luggage from switching so many times. I know the chances are low that it will happen but at the same time I am keeping in mind that the possibility is still there.
I know I will be ok in the long run and I am sure I am going to have some interesting stories to tell once I am back from this beautiful and wonderful experience, I just know that the flight will be long and quite the event for me. Jet lag is going to be a huge factor in this travel and I am sure it’s going to be a long time before I can reorient myself.
So I do ask those who have done a lot of flying in the past, what is something you learned when flying? Is there any tricks and tips I should know?
