So driving through Kansas was quite strange. It reminded me of when we drove through Texas but a little but more satisfying. In Kansas it was a little hilly so that added a little bit of entertainment when it came to driving eighty mph. I was really happy about that discovery and got to really see Vanessa Move (that's my car's name) and feel her true power. It was so much fun. But Kansas also had a lot of scares. There are so few gas stations and it felt like every gas station that we went by was a goldmine. I've had a lot of scares when it comes to almost running out of gas but this one was pretty straight forward. If I got stuck out here, I would probably have to walk to the nearest gas station with a seven pound cat and leave most of my belongings behind.
No. Hell no.
Luckily we came upon a gas station right when the sign for the gas station came on in my car. I pulled in and fueled up and for the rest of the time I was cruising and watching this amazing Kansas sunset while I went across the country to this magical wonderland of Colorado. Really I felt very inspired and I was so happy to have been able to even make out to Colorado and mostly I was lucky that I could afford the adventure at all.
Those five hours through Kansas was long but also beautiful and I am very happy to say that I will be sharing a video with you guys that shows off that sunset and how spectacular it was. For me personally I was working with what I had and this recording is still new to me so I really do hope you enjoy.
