When I made this piece I thought about the pyramids in Egypt and how badly I want to see them in person. I thought about how amazing it would be to see them with my own eyes and how it would be a story to tell for my future children and grandchildren. From there I then thought about what it would have been like if the human race just suddenly became nothing. If we had all died at once and left the Earth the way it is. So of course I had to make a red planet to emphasize that thought. Who knows, maybe if we had never existed there might be a river running through Egypt. Maybe even some trees and a river. Maybe the Earth would have been more vast and beautiful. 

Truth be told I have always loved the Egyptian culture and I really do think that they are so fascinating. They were so advanced and they had so much knowledge. Their language is quite beautiful and mysterious and of course the way that they managed their society is something to study and think about. 

So if you are one of those people that loves the Egyptian culture and is fascinated like I am then this piece is ready to be in your home and on your wall.
